Great service, very professional and clean vehicles. I came across these guys on Google and I am glad I found them. The chauffeur was dressed well and very professional. He knew his way around the city and the traffic and the vehicle they send was a newer model Cadillac Escalade and it was very clean inside and out. The car was stocked with water and mints. How many wineries can we visit in one day?
Three wineries make a comfortable wine tour plan for most groups, and some fit a fourth when the wineries sit close together on Route 25. The driving time from New York City fills a large part of the day. Three vineyards with a lunch stop leave room to relax at each one.
What does wine tour transportation cost?
The cost of a wine tour depends on the vehicle, the number of hours, the pickup address, and the route. Because you hire the whole vehicle, the cost per person drops as more friends share it. You pay tasting fees directly at each winery. Request a quote by the Hour, and our team replies with your price and a confirmation.
Can we drink alcohol in the vehicle?
New York Vehicle and Traffic Law Section 1227 bans open containers of alcohol in most vehicles. It exempts passengers only in larger for-hire passenger vehicles operated under a state or federal Department of Transportation permit. Tell us your passenger count when you book, and we confirm which vehicles allow a drink on board.
Do we need winery reservations for a group?
Yes, for most groups. Many North Fork tasting rooms have limited seating, and some do not accept a bus or party vehicle without approval. Groups of four or more should book each winery for Friday through Sunday visits, when the 2 to 4 p.m. window fills first, and mention that they arrive by chauffeured vehicle.
Can you pick us up at a Manhattan hotel and drop guests at different addresses?
Yes. Your chauffeur can meet the group at a Midtown or Financial District hotel in Manhattan and drop guests at separate addresses in Brooklyn, Queens, or Manhattan on the way back. List every drop-off when you request your quote, so the route and the hours include each stop.
Can our wine tour start at JFK or LaGuardia?
Yes. A group flying into JFK or LaGuardia can head straight to wine country. Share your flight numbers when you book, and we monitor each arrival so a late landing does not throw off the day. For rides to and from your hotel on other days, book our airport car service in NYC.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy asks for a written cancellation to info@ilimoww.com at least 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full. As a courtesy, that charge becomes a service credit for a ride of equal or lesser value, usable within 90 days of the original date.
